    Pokemon Fan Club

I recall a Pokemon thread from a long time ago that died. Anywho, judging from some of the sigs and avatars around here, I must not be the only one on here who likes Pokemon. Come here for strategy, discussion, trading, battling, etc.

Anywho, I've been playing Black for the last while, and I'm at Victory Road now, but I just wanted to be sure I'd be alright for the Elite 4. Here's my party right now. Let me know if I'm good or not.

    Emboar Lv. 50
    Zebstrika Lv. 43
    Basculin Lv. 42
Boldore Lv. 42 (soon to evolve)
Gurdurr Lv. 41 (soon to evolve)
    Stoutland Lv. 41

Also, I'm training a Litwick. It's lv. 39, and evolves at 41, then again with a dusk stone.

Am I good, or do I need other ones?

I was playing Pokemon Diamond again there for a while. Lvl 50-ish Empoleon, Haunter, Ponyta, Charap (?), Steelix and something else. All of them kept getting one-hit by that Pokemon champion ***** and her Lucario. I could be a champion too if I had four other jerkfaces to soften everyone up before they got to me...
    Also, I have butter cookies!

I like the collecting aspect of the game more than the battling aspect. I have 302/648 owned (379/648 seen, but no one cares about that.) I'm confident that this is the game I'm going to complete the Pokedex on.

    That said, my Party is:
    Lancelot (Escavalier) LV.62
    Punk (Simisage) LV.62
    DarkJaw (Krookodile) LV.62
    Yin (Zekrom) LV.62
    Blazer (Emboar) LV.62
    Osis (Reuniclus) LV.61

I find that the best team to have is one with as many different types as you can. That means no single types like Zebstrika, Basculin, and Gurdurr. no doubles like Gurdurr and Emboar. and no Normal types like Stoutland. also try to use as many traded Pokemon as you can because they evolve faster. Also you need a flying type to make traveling around much easier.

So (not trying to sound like a jerk) your team is kind of bad.

    What i recommend is
    Keep Emboar (fire, fighting)
get a flying that is also something else like Swoobat (psychic, flying)
you need a water type like Jellicent (water, ghost)
since 2 of the elite 4 are weak against dark go with Krookodile (dark, ground)
you need an ice type to beat any dragon type and since there is no 2 type ice pokemon in this game go with Vanilluxe or Beartic
and an electric or grass type to help with any water type so Galvantula (electric, bug) or Leavanny (grass, bug)

can you tell that i'm bored lol.

Here's my party atm. I'll need to train them still, but here goes. I've got type advantages over all but the fighting of the elite 4, but I think I can just overpower those with strength alone.

    Krookodile (dark, ground)
Zebstrika (he's fast and has good attack) (electric)
Basculin (might get rid of for a multi-type, but again, it's high att and speed) (water)
    Boldore (rock)
    Chandelure (Fire, ghost)
    Emboar (Fire, fight)

trade Basculin for Jellicent and then you will have a ghost and you don't need Chandelure because you already would have ghost and you already have fire. And then get something for the fighting. Solosis's final form is pretty cool (can't think of the name right now)

It's Reuniclus, and yes, yes it is.

    Speed's horrible though.

My favorite Black/White pokemon is the T-Rex (Krokodoc or something like that?). And then he's even cooler if equipped with the blackglasses.
Power Gig is better than your rhythm game
