Also, why is it that the Pro players on this board assume that everyone else plays Pro exclusively? If I liked Ozzy, I would definitely jump on this for the two free pro upgrades.

I think most folks upset about cherry picking those tracks will be a bit happier when they see the pricing for the 8 pack, especially with the Pro upgrades included.

Um the price is 13.50....the normal price for an 8 pack, and no "free pro on two songs" doesnt count as a majority of RB players dont play pro songs.

Pretty easy for me this week....the two songs I REALLY wanted are the two pack only songs...I will NOT pay $13.50 for 2 songs. Maybe Ill get Mr Crowley some time but not right now. This is disappointing.

I have MS points in the bank for next tuesday. This pack flat out kicks ass! Great job by Ozzy and HMX to bring us this pack. Also, love the fact that it was bundled with two free pro upgrades. When the Squier finally arrives from the Schick contest, these will be among the first to practice on.

Yeah, I was surprised that the "special" pricing for the pack really helped no-one. Legacy players (such as myself) gain no benefit. Pro-players are forced to buy additional non-pro(able) songs, so they end up spending more money.

I was expecting the price to be generous but this seems a little off for my liking. It seems like Legacy players are being forced (due to exclusive tracks in the pack) into subsidising pro-tracks. At the same time, pro-only players are also being forced to purchase non-pro songs.

Thankfully I was not going to purchase this pack anyway. But I really hope this does not become a standard practice, otherwise I will most likely wait and hope that the packs come up in a DLC sale down the line.

Why does everyone think the upgrade is free? You have to buy 8 songs to get it. Look at it this way, if we were allowed to cherry pick as normal, then you buy the few songs you actually want, and an add'l .99 cents for the upgrade. Still less than the price of this ridiculous gimmick by HMX. They must be in more financial trouble than we know to treat their customers with this kind of bait and switch.

Sign me up with the lot of people that aren't too keen on the principle of this weeks exclusivity.
Just can't see it benefitting all that many people and more than anything else, DLC has always been about optional content. This model seems to discourage the optional part.
