Ozone's been working on getting us the Power Rangers theme for a long time, working with Ron Wasserman and Saban Entertainment and actually making progress on it, so it'd be pretty bizarre and distressing if somebody else managed to license it over his head.

That said, I wouldn't take it seriously. I've noticed Kario Jerry teases random songs fairly frequently so I generally ignore it. I assume he teases at songs that they don't have, to help obscure the teases of songs that they do have

We're having different reactions. I can't speak for Ozone.

I find it incredibly unlikely that Kario has Power Rangers. However, that post blatantly implies- without ever saying- that they do. I doubt Jerry's so dumb as to not realize that. What he's done there in that case is the reason I hate marketing and PR people- he's lying, but he can deny saying anything false. That's massively disingenuous. And given that it's posted in another company's thread, it reeks of trying to steal the spotlight.

On the slim chance that Kario does have Power Rangers, it's still bad form. He's teasing a project in another studio's thread, when there's another more suitable and neutral thread to use instead. It's an attempt at up-staging, which I can't claim as inappropriate on its own, but it's done in a way that rubs it in Owen's face and that's ludicrously inappropriate. It reads as very mocking; "we got it, you couldn't, we rule, you suck".

So no matter what the facts are, that post was in my opinion quite inappropriate and, as a community, I thought we were better than that.

What if he was trying to imply that he didn't want to explain the whole licencing story again, and wanted to watch someone else do it? That's what I first thought, actually.

Well I've talked with Ron and he hasn't been approached or heard anything, so there's that. I'm pretty sure if anyone else got the rights, Ron would have zero involvement since he's been along for the ride with me for the past two years.

So just know that a) I know people want it, b) I'm constantly working on it, and c) licensing is hard

I think everyone was perfectly calm (not to mention on-topic) before you made a post that created drama in this thread - intentional or not.

Now let's please get back to discussing actual Ozone Entertainment announcements and releases.

That depends on the decade you were born. I grew up in the 90s and never played a Pac-Man game until 2010, while the Power Rangers dominated the 90s' pop culture.

That's worse than not playing a Mario game until then. I really don't see how that's possible. Even my MOM, who is by no means a gamer, has played the classics like Pac-Man, Galaga, Centipede, etc.
8/9/11 (Def Leppard) will be marked as the best day in RB history for me. HMX, major thanks for all this amazing DLC you put out!

Probably my most anticipated RBN songs since announcement (besides the initial run of JoCo songs and Ayreon). I bought that album on vinyl, and the record sleeve had the 9th key pattern for Pac Man. I've loved the music for over 25 years. Can't wait.

    Pluck your magic twanger Froggie.
4 singles - 2 I'll get (Queensryche and one Staind).
