    On the plus side, roms tend to be hacked to include a much higher chance for finding shinies. In my ten+ years of playing the games I've never seen a shiny in any of the cartridge versions but it's like every ten minutes with FireRed rom I have.

    Actually, there is a way to do that. But I've only figured out how to trade between two emulators running on my computer at the same time even though you should be able to link up with someone on another computer. I'm trying to figure out how to do that.

    Woah, really?

    I do know it's possible to load a rom onto an empty gba cartridge if you have one of those USB flash linkers, and trade from that rather convoluted process, but not from computer-to-computer. That's pretty
