I saw Powerman 5000, and theres so many replies i didn't feel like going through all to get an answer after reading for like 20mins haha. I'm sure it might of been asked before but any chance of getting the rights to When Worlds Collide by Powerman 5000?
Probably not, all of the Powerman 5000 songs are from their 2009 album, I believe that these are the only songs they have the rights to, so any other songs would require major label involvement to make a deal happen (AKA no ****ing way it'll ever happen over the RBN).
I went to Harmonix and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Instead, they gave me a cheese pizza and told me that I could buy one pepperoni slice every week.
Yea, that's sadly all too common. Pretty much the same thing happened with Rockapella. And we're working with [name redacted] who has a 2003 album I really wanted to pull from, but the label it's on isn't playing ball (even though they barely exist anymore). So we're limited to their new one. Which isn't bad, really, but kinda disappointing.
On the flip side, we've seen RBN bands "graduate" to official DLC. Maybe a strong RBN showing will get the major label interested in cashing in on the old hits.

There is a SMALL chance that Spider and the gang might still retain enough of the rights to the Anyone for Doomsday? material.
There was some legal back and forth with Spider and interscope over the album (spider scraped it entirely at one time, then put it up on his website. Interscope made them pull it, but it's now available again through iTunes. Now if that extends to the rights to something like RBN we don't know yet as Spider wants to see how these first six tracks fare on the service before pursuing anything off this other album.
Bombshell and Danger is Go is probably the two most notable tracks on this album. I can confirm that the band does indeed NOT own any of the other albums masters. So IF (and this is a big IF) there is ANY back album material from PM5K it will be from that album.
As has been stated that doesn't stop HMX from going to the source and getting the older stuff, but this is what you can POSSIBLY expect from RBN.

Random question, how is Kylesa coming along? Any sort of release window for it as of now? Just because living in New Zealand makes it annoying to buy MS points for RBN so I don't know whether to save the few I've got left and wait or spend them on something else...

Currently cranking: 685 songs
tired climb is in it's (second?) round of playtesting. i don't wanna give a projection as to when it will be out, since the pipeline is unpredictable and there are a handful of songs on deck before it... i'd say spend your points, you'll probably have more before it gets out
Is there any more Rishloo being planned/in the pipeline? Anything else from this band would be amazing.....just downloaded Feathergun off Amazon Mp3, pretty epic stuff.
150 characters is way too limiting for a signature, HMX.
