I just saw your tweet about some more Season of Mist artists coming to RBN, and even if my contribution may be minor, I'd like to share some artists ideas.

Just for a little bit of storytelling, a friend and myself wanted to create an authoring group to provide French artists to the community. Unfortunately, as far as I know, RBN submissions are still not yet supported in France, and will probably never be. So here are my little list, hoping that some other authoring group may bring them to the game ! I actually don't own a 360, but providing these artists may make me change my mind

Sorry for the long post, I'd like to add some comments to explain why these artists are cool to me, and not write a plain bland list.

Trepalium :
To be honnest, it's not a band I know for a long time. But they got some groovy, catchy style mixed with some strong metal that make them pretty unique. Try Sick Boogie Murder, the piano part and the final "verse" sounds like genius to me. Addicted to Oblivion got the same catchy sound.

Punish Yourself :
Again, it's a band I discovered only one year ago. But they also got a pretty interesting industrial style that tries to enter your mind (especially with that voice). They are pretty popular here, mainly for their crazy online performances. Try See Ya Later Alligator.

Eths :
Eths is also a popular band in France. Firstly because of the singer, a woman that looks like a little girl getting an abnormal voice (see what I did there). Their songs are in French, but to be honnest, you need some French to French translation dictionnary to understand their lyrics. In a survey on the official Guitar Hero French site (which I managed back in the days) called "Which artist would you like to see in GH", Eths got the first place out of 10 French others bands and artists (and some were pretty popular), with some strong advantage. They never got contacted to appear in the game. No song in particular, but Crucifiere is the most popular here.

Carnival in Coal :
I like them. I really like them, but their style is pretty avant-gardist, and I think you need to be really, REALLY open-minded to like their songs (or else you're pretty tend to vomit. Hard.). So well, even if I strongly hope I'll see them one day on Rock band, I would understand why they may never make the cut ! Every songs seems different to me. Right Click Save As may be the most accessible, Cartilage Holocaust is pure disco, F**kable maybe won't make the cut because of the title but the lyrics are hilarious. They splitted, so I hope this won't be an issue.

And even if I never took to time to listen to them, I know that Dagoba, Psykup and The Old Dead Tree are more or less popular here.

Oh, on another note, more Dillinger Escape Plan please. Widower for keys, and Gold Theeth on a Bum for awesomeness !

I am in this camp. This is one of the few songs I will tolerate having 3 of just so I have a slim chance of playing it more often with random song.

Without Morals and Obsidian Conspiracy has been running into the upload glitches. Century media has been trying to get it sorted out for about three weeks now. The good news is when it goes up it should be the final version of both songs and get into the store not long after.
