It looks like the formula just changed again. For the record, I liked the last formula a whole lot more.

My best instrument was Harmony, because that's where I had the highest skill. Now my "most played" instrument is Guitar, because I've played the most songs on that one. And yet, only a few more than what I've done on Vocals (well within one standard deviation), which again has a much higher skill rating. But yes, technically Guitar is my most played instrument. Maybe some weight should be given to percent of songs played, where the denominator consists of songs that even have charting for each instrument. That would give Pro instruments a chance to appear here, since relatively few songs can be played on them.

My best song used to be "Paradise By The Dashboard Lights", I'm guessing because that's where I had my highest band score (in terms of total points). Now, it's "Need You Tonight", probably because that's my highest single-instrument percentile rating (99.7% on Keys / Pro Keys). The move from points to percentile is a good one, but I thought it made more sense when it used Full Band score. Either way, weight should be given to the song difficulty (much like how it is done for Signature Performance on this site, even if it doesn't use the exact same formula).

We just released a new update to the app! Now you can compare your Rock Band 3 scores and skills to your Facebook friends and people you look up by Console ID. You can compare DLC libraries to see who you should play with.

We'll even suggest new friends for you based on your similarities in DLC! (Note: This feature is still gathering data. You may not see suggested friends for the next 24 hours.) Let us know what you think!

I'm right with you on all points.

What exactly constitutes "Best Song Performance?", which coincidentally is now also "Need You Tonight" for me as well on PRO keys.

Not that "Captain Jack" was really much more accurate, although that one was designated as "Highest Scoring", which I imagine is true for anyone that plays PRO keys and has that song in their library.

Even my "Signature Performance" (which is A Bridge That Will Burn) on MY GAMEPLAY page makes a lot more sense then either of those choices.

I'm of the opinion that this so called "best performance" is based on your highest ranking on a song with the most plays by other people.

I couldn't tell you how many song I've FC'd that are harder and higher scoring than "Need You Tonight", but I'm gonna guess that anyone that's FC'd that song on PRO keys is going to find "Need You Tonight" as their so called "best performance" today as long as PRO keys is their "main instrument".

My most played instrument is guitar and my best performance is Imagine. That doesn't make sense. There is no guitar on that song.
