True story: My nickname actually came from about thirteen years ago when I was a street teamer for Papa Roach.

Seems almost ironic in retrospect. (Oh God, am I becoming a hipster?!)

Outside of the Exogenesis Symphony (which really is the standout piece of The Resistance), my favorite pastime with that album was just to go "hmm, who did they rip off this time?" Depeche Mode, Queen, possibly some SOAD in there as well... usually not a good sign when the influences become transparent.

I saw the Queen, but not really the Depeche Mode. I did like Exogenesis Symphony, however...

Coheed's street team is a steal. Early admission to shows and meet and greets and all that.

Yeah, that album was really bad and I blame Fueled By Ramen for it. In terms of what that label has released over the years, it's one of the most consistently bad record labels out there. It's a shame that Monae was so woefully underutilized on "We Are Young."

Agreed, but Fueled By Ramen isn't nearly as bad as the Christcore labels like Victory Records.
