I found a song that's unavailable to buy over the weekend. Paul and Storm's song Opening Band. I bought both RBN songs that are available, and wanted to get this as well, but theres no option to purchase.

No, I doubt it. Doesn't that sound simple?

It's a valid point, but if both Microsoft and Nintendo can negotiate for DLC to continue being released worldwide, SCEE needs a kick in the ass (or friendly reminder) that their competitors can do what they can't seem to.

Hey all, we have some good news! This temporary DLC outage, while originally expected to run through the beginning of the summer, should be wrapped up much sooner. Thanks to some hardworking devs here at Harmonix and some good luck with the submission, it’s looking like this will likely be resolved in early May. We’ll update this thread and future DLC announcements with specific dates when we have more info in the coming days. Thanks so much for your continued patience.

Noticed that in the Announcements thread, but thank you for posting it here!

While it's not very definitive, it's a positive sign that Harmonix don't want the process to drag on forever either.

I still think we PS3 users outside the US get a raw deal. We've invested just as much (if not more) into the Rock Band franchise as US gamers, but our DLC is more expensive, our DLC is delayed, and even the instruments are scarce (and really expensive). It would be nice if we were offered some form of promotion for free/discounted DLC, similar to what's been on offer in the US.

According to the blog post, we're getting those four pre-outage delayed RBN tracks today. The store hasn't updated yet, though.

Damn, you beat me to it.

Store's now updated (they're under RB3 instead of RBN 2.0), we got...

    - Far Away From Heaven – Free Spirit (Prices: £0.99,€1.49,AU$2.45)
    - Paced Energy – Magnus ‘SoulEye’ Pålsson (Prices: £0.59,€0.79,AU$1.30)
    - Preacher Man – Free Spirit (Prices: £0.99,€1.49,AU$2.45)
    - The Cascade Effect – Chaotrope (Prices: £0.59,€0.79,AU$1.30)

Perhaps this is a sign that we may get regular DLC back sooner than expected? (I hope so!)

Just downloaded and played Paced Energy, I'm happy (except about Pressure Cooker still being missing).

Looks like things are getting back to normal.

The EU Blog says this week's update will have...

    Rockband 3

    Evanescence Pack 02 (£3.99, €2.49, AU$6.45)
    Everybody’S Fool (£0.99, €1.49, AU$2.45)
    Lithium (£0.99, €1.49, AU$2.45)
    What You Want (£0.99, €1.49, AU$2.45)

    Over The Top (£0.99, €1.49, AU$2.45)
    Indiscriminate Murder Is Counter-Productive (£0.99, €1.49, AU$2.45)
    Starlight Speedway (£0.59, €0.79, AU$1.30)
    Do The Donkey Kong (£0.99, €1.49, AU$2.45)
    Tear It Up (£0.99, €1.49, AU$2.45)

edit: just checked the announcements thread, hmxhenry posted that we'll get the remaining DLC from the last few weeks, next week along with what's announced on Friday... so there'll be 30+ songs (if you include RBN 2.0) going up next week (awesome job Harmonix for getting this sorted so quickly!).
