I honestly think that Blaze was a much better singer than Di'Anno.
Obviously I'd go with the Di'Anno albums in a heartbeat over the Blaze ones, but I stil find his stuff rather overlooked.
Killers is their best album IMO
RO: Due to the nature of the concept, it seems like tracks off of The Wall are frequent targets to be covered. Much to the chagrin of Roger Waters, the vast majority of them turn out better than Pink Floyd's originals.
UO: This includes Kittie's cover of "Run Like Hell".

With the regards to the posts about punk having no talent in order to play stereotype...it certainly is a terrible stereotype. I think what is better said about punk that it doesn't matter how talented you are in order to achieve. You can be thrashing around on power chords with little regards to tone, make a 25 minute demo and be done for the day, or make a double album like the Minutemen which go outside of just roots.
I wish to be a magician of words!
Yeah, I agree with the filler statement. Their biggest asset is the guitarist's willingness to borrow from the southern sludge (like Acid Bath) tradition once in a while, and Keith Buckley's stage presence.
RO: Holy crap I totally forgot how amazing The Damned's "The Black Album" is. If progressive-punk-goth psychedelia wasn't such a pretentious title it's what I'd call it.
