No worries, thanks for taking it into account.
I have been pleasantly surprised with season 7, because season 6 was definitely the weakest season for me and felt like they needed to wrap it up. I love the little callbacks to previous episodes and a lot of the supporting characters like Nora, Kevin and Quinn actually worked and were funny in their own right (unlike Jennifer Morrison's character, who managed to be even more annoying than Stella. My dislike of both actresses in general doesn't help, though.)
Weird. Whenever I've sat down to watch HIMYM, I've always felt that the show could do with a lot less Marshall.
Really? I feel that Barney, funny as he may be, is a lot more over-used, and that any attempts to add depth to the character usually fall flat. That whole finding and bonding with his dad storyline was absolutely awful, and I'm saying that as a huge John Lithgow and NPH fan. Marshall and Robin are usually the characters that get the most laughs from me.
Well, maybe I've just seen the episodes where he's off, although I'm not really a Jason Segel fan, so that's a big part of it, I'm sure.
As for what I've been watching, I'm a handful of episodes into the second season of Stargate SG-1. I like it well enough, but I'm waiting for it to get really interesting. So far it's been mostly "planet of the week" stuff, and despite being centered around the same four characters, there's been a serious lack of character development. Considering it ran for ten seasons and spawned two spinoff series, I have to imagine that it improves in both those areas.
I feel like I'm the only one on Earth who would gladly strangle Barney to death.

Saw United Stats of America last night. They were trying to find what America's #1 killer was. Turns out it's heart disease, which wasn't a shock. Finding out only 5-6 Americans die every year from snake bites was interesting too.
Also, why are shows like Storage Wars and Pawn Stars so addicting?!
I have a PS3 now. Send me a friend request maybe?
