It will probably be a fun song, but I wish Rocksmith would at least display where string mutes are in a song, it doesn't even have to score them. This shouldn't be above their ability, given that they say on their website they are providing the entire guitar transcriptions in-game.

Sorry--the Bonnie Raitt song I was thinking about is called "Thing Called Love". "I Believe In a Thing Called Love" is by some band called The Darkness. I'm not very familiar with it except that it's been used in some advertisement recently, but I can't quite recall what the ad was for. I just remember the "I wanna kiss you every minute every hour every day" lyric. EDIT: It was a Samsung Galaxy Note ad.

I wonder what they'd do in an RS2? The UI could certain use an entire re-design--it's one of the very worst I have ever used. They've got so much happening this fall with the Bass DLC, European release and potentially PC version.

I don't see why they couldn't, barring any licensing issues about whether they can amend the originally released transcriptions, it's just development work. Even if there are licensing issues about amending the original released content, they are already going to do that with the bass expansion. You might mean that there is no way they would want to do that instead of just sell another game with that feature.
