I haven't bought Hyperdrive yet, what does Ziltoid "mess up" with that song?

Actually, since Ziltoid sits out of the entire song, all there is is a tiny bit of venue spazzing at the very end when he comes up in the narration. I think "Solar Winds" and "Color Your World" are the only songs without ghost vocals that are absent from the PS3. Everything else (including "By Your Command") does, so PS3 vocalists are probably confused as *butt*.

The brief way to explain the Ziltoid fudgery: if it's horrible and Magma allows it, it probably shows up somewhere in one of the songs. Well, except for instrument-based things like gems going in the wrong direction. Those didn't work out too well, and it's not like you can put the drumkit next to the speaker to avoid the broken parts, hence most of the RB buggery sticking mostly to vocals and venue.

There's a lot of motifs in the venues that appear throughout the album. Things like strobes at the mention of "Ziltoid," and dark (i.e. SPAAAAAAAAACE) lighting during dialogue. And "The Greys" should be a no-brainer.

It's something we made up for Ziltoid to mess with/troll the player..

Basically he (Ziltoid) scrolls words that aren't in the song (most are praising how awesome ziltoid is) that the singer has to sing that isn't part of the actual song (this happens when there isn't any words to sing from the song itself in the audio).

Would be cool if you'd re-consider making a RB3 version of ZTO. It's frustrating to know that we PS3 players can't as of now never get it.

What else is baked into the stem with the keys on it? All of the playable elements are already isolated, right? So if you just have a "background music" track that includes the keys and some other stuff, couldn't you just use that as a keys stem, and blame any weird glitches that happen when you miss on Ziltoid's interference? It couldn't be any weirder than the guitar-drums stem issue on I Can See For Miles

Edit: conversely, anything else that's on that stem, just chart it to keys

Well, true, technically the term "ghost vocals" meant phrases that have no audible cue in the vocal stem, but as the project developed it came to define any unconventional vocal parts, including the wrong lyrics in ZTO and Planet Smasher. :/

There's a lot of everything in the backing stem. All the synth (~2-4 parts per song), backing guitars, harmonies and dialogue... enough to really not be able to put anything on keys.
