Their first album (and EP) was released under their own record label, Redbird Records, but that has since been merged into Island Records, which is of course under Universal. So, I'm not sure if that means an automatic no, but I figured it'd be worth a shot. Anyway, they've had a few hits, the one you'd probably recognize is Love Me Dead from their second album "You're Awful, I Love You", but a few other notable songs are Good Will Hunting By Myself from their debut album, Go Getter Greg also from "You're Awful, I Love You", and Whipped Cream from their third album "Prepare The Preparations".

They used to be signed under Tooth & Nail, which we've gotten bands from before, but their most recent album was funded through Kickstarter, which might make it easier to obtain. I've seen a few tour videos of theirs where they were playing Rock Band back stage, so I figure that might be a somewhat hint that they could be interested. Now for a few songs, The Fight and The Coldest Heart from their debut album "Albatross", Abracadavers from their second release "The Silver Cord", Four Chords from their third album "Vagabonds", and You and Me Both from their latest album "Phoenix".
Also, since The Authority has sadly stopped, I was wondering if anyone could pick up

We already have three tracks (Butcher's Mouth, The Cheval Glass, and Scissors), but I always hoped we'd get some of their earlier songs featuring their great harmonies and counter-melodies (The Ponytail Parades and The Weakest are good examples). But, if for some reason it is not possible to get stuff from when they were with Tooth & Nail (doesn't seem like it's been an issue in the past, and they're now on a subdivision of T&N), I'd more than gladly take anything more you can get from their most recent album (was hoping for The Curse of Perfect Days when they were initially released).
Now as for smaller label stuff:

This 5-piece band, with 2 drummers and a trumpetist/lead singer from the Tampa Bay area has been self described as "nerdcore hip hop funky fusion rock = prog hop". They are currently on what is practically their own label (Mohawk Bomb Records), and just last year released their first album, Sex, Drugs, and Comic Books, and a music video. They are also trying to find a way to get their song The Last Box of Twinkies On Earth into the soundtrack for Zombieland 2, and are working on a second album. Before the release of their album, I had spoken to them about RBN, which they had definite interest in. So please check them out!
Alright, so Animal Collective is releasing a new album in September, and their entire discography has been released on independent labels, so, authoring groups, you wanna try and get a song or two?
Today's Supernatural (a track from their new album, Centipede Hz)
Another request, emo/math band Dads. Completely independent, they've got three albums out (all on Bandcamp, one officially released just today). They're very talented, not just in the "this would be fun to play" way, but also the "this song sounds awesome" way.
Bandcamp (probably the easiest way to contact them)

I went to Harmonix and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Instead, they gave me a cheese pizza and told me that I could buy one pepperoni slice every week.
Charon - Goth-ish metal or hard rock (not gonna debate it all day) band from Finland, somewhat comparable to H.I.M. Religious/Delicious was released as a single. At the End of Our Day would be my top pick. They're signed to Spinefarm.

I would like to request a few things:
1. more SikTh: I absolutely love them and I finally got a 360 so I can buy their only song but I would love to see some things from their first album like Pussyfoot (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4WL0RBk7jE) Their first album is on the label Unparalleled Carousel
2. HORSE the Band: They are a Nintendocore band (yes, that is an actually genre, debatable of course). My favorite album by them, Desperate Living, is on Vagrant Records. My favorite song to see by them would be Shapeshift (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RF_v7ek5o-s)
