It was okay. It was the hottest, sweatiest show I've ever been to. Chippendale was really affected by the heat and Gibson was having problems with his rig. They cut Megaghost short because Chippendale was dying. Same exact set both nights too, but it was still awesome.

I really love Ecailles de Lune, but I've never really been able to get into any of Alcest's other albums.

I went bowling today and found a very good jukebox, played Failure, Talking Heads, Hawkwind, Andrew WK, Napalm Death, King Crimson, Rage Against the Machine, Nick Cave, and Refused. I think I pissed some people off, lol.

I like all of Alcest's output, but Ecailles de Lune is the only one I really love. All the rest is just good.

I think people don't really care for the whole Black Metal/Shoegaze hybrid bands in general. I personally enjoy Alcest, though it probably helps that I'm a big fan of Shoegaze.

King Crimson at bowling, that's just perfect.

It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.

I personally think the black metal purists get a bit pissed off whenever new people get interested in their music.

Ah, part of the fun of jukeboxes is to piss people off with your music selections. Many times have I gone and played a round of pool than found a jukebox that had Sepultura, Amorphis, and even Darkthrone in them (ah the perks of digital jukeboxes). Once I put some Emperor on one of those only for two 60-70 year old geezers to complain about it to the bartender. Said bartender was asking around about who put that music in, saying that they'd turn it off if nobody admitted to it. I informed them that I did and then raised my beer glass towards the geezers to mock them.

Bonus points if that jukebox was an old school one with actual records in them.
Bands I'd love to see as DLC for Rock Band:

    Bathory []
    Bal Sagoth []
    Amorphis []
    Emperor [X]
    Enslaved []
