The PS3 RBN 2.0 Songs Request Thread

So who asked for THREE Strikken songs the other week? I searched the entire thread and there was nothing yet we got THREE of them instead of things people actually wanted.

This is the official thread they link in all of their DLC announcements. I'm not sure what you're not understanding. They took up THREE slots of the same band that NOBODY requested.

The most commonly requested songs here are ignored for month after month and they keep porting stuff that NOBODY asked for.

Honest answer guys, why do you even pretend that we have any influence over what random crap you decide to port week after week? Do you just throw song names into a hat or what?

You missed a different possibility entirely. That is the possibility that we have taken a personal dislike to you.

Consequently (in this scenario), we have decided to forego the massive number of sales and fans that we could gain by releasing your requested songs on PS3, just for the sheer pleasure of thwarting you.

Lachesis, is there any chance you'd be willing to venture outside of the RBN section every once in a while to deliver replies like that in other threads that are in dire need of it? Either that or you need to train Aaron.

Anyway, super psyched to see my most wanted song, In the Wake of Evolution, on the PS3 next week. Along with this week's Amberian Dawn tracks, that's caused a major change in my top 5 request list, which now looks like this:

- Any Cynic song
- Any Devin Townsend song
- Any Ghost Brigade song
- Pythia - Just a Lie
- An Unkindness - A Death

Another great week! I was afraid that the RBN songs wouldn't be that exciting, since we have Blitz coming out, but we've got plenty of good stuff to choose from here too. Children of Nova's last track was one of my pick's, but I also love me some Chaotrope. The Kaipa track looks really cool, the "Brony" song doesn't actually look half bad, and I know a certain user who has been looking forward to that last Free Spirit track for quite a long time. Nice well rounded picks, and as always, thanks for listening to the community!

EDIT: Ok, I've found ONE person that asked for Children of Nova. But the rest seem to be mostly completely random, just like when we got 3 Strikken songs that nobody in the entire thread ever asked for while there are metal songs requested by numerous people month after month that are continuously ignored.

Um, the Brony song and Free Spirit are very popular on the forums. There have been plenty of request for songs. The best thing to do, if you don't like what's coming, is to request what you want.

It won't always happen, I've been requesting a few songs for over a year, but it does help.
