Who is my rival?

So anybody know what the deal with your "rival" is? I get the same rival on every song, for me it always starts as "Moosejaw", and if I beat my rival it says "Dora Sullivan" on the right. Anybody know what this means or if you can change your rival?

I think they are the star cutoffs.

That makes sense. So does your's say the same thing (those names seem silly to me)?

Those are the names of the Rock Band pre-fab band stand-ins/charcters so it does not seem weird if you have been seeing them for years.

I think Moosejaw is the 4 star cuttof, Mothership Q is the 5 star cutoff, and The Duke is the Gold Star cutoff.
