Probably been suggested before, but not going to look..

A 'classic' mode with it's own leaderboards would be nice. Where the only power-up is the 2x multiplier by default, so the game is more like regular Rock Band and the factor of luck regarding purple notes is removed.
This way you not only satisfy the people who want competition without the random factor, it will help practice for the full mode since the OD paths will always be active AND it will also help alleviate the boredom of grinding for coins. Make the coin rewards far less than the full mode, but enough to actually profit even on low tier songs.

I haven't seen this posted yet... in the 'Messages' screen, while scrolling upwards the message boxes are not rendered in their correct positions. What I mean is that they are off by 1 from their proper positions, meaning that the boxes appear to temporarily 'jump' when scrolling upwards. This doesn't happen when scrolling downwards.

On the song results screen the finale bonus doesn't clear properly like the other score values. If it's the first song you've played in the session it starts out blank instead of '0' like the other scores, and if not it will start out with the value of the finale bonus from the last song you played (before resetting to the correct value). Also, skipping this screen before it's done counting up your score and then going back will not show the correct score values - any skipped values will be 'frozen' at 0. (I posted these two before but I wanted all my bug reports to be in one place).

Others have reported this elsewhere, but Blitz seems to only output song audio in stereo. At least on my 5.1 system, the music only plays thorugh the front right and front left speakers. Sound effects play through the center channel, and the rear left and right speakers never seem to output anything. I don't have this problem with RB3 or anything else. Could be on purpose but thought I'd report it anyway. My speakers report that they are receiving 'Dolby Digital' audio.

I have also experienced the 'random' freeze twice, once at the end of a song and once right at the beginning. Could be something involved with the transition between the menu system and the song? Has anyone experienced this right in the middle of a song? This is all on Xbox by the way.

    It's called a checkpoint.

I've encountered that too. In fact, I haven't seen the car this week.

I have downloaded Blitz and played it a bit - pretty cool - but a a total drag is the fact that it takes a REALLY LONG TIME for my 360 to load my 2000+ songs - I'm talking 10+ minutes. I don't want to wait that long to jump into a casual game.

suggestion: seeing as some people that have no difficulty getting coins will get stuck with pretty much limitless coins now you get even more coins, how about giving them some other way to spend it?

for 500.000 coins someone could make a goal on rock band world (that stays up for a week or so, max. 5 songs or something etc.) for everyone.

people with loads of coins would be happy, people without coins have an extra goal.

You do realise that the post you quoted already says it only does that the first time. I'm roughly 1000 songs with the imports and thats about 10-15s on start-up now.

Make an algorithm that keeps powerups the same through every play. I had a hard time gold starring Wicker Man. During one playthrough the blast notes were where I needed them to be and I got Gold Stars with room to spare, my accuracy was below what I normally did too. I'm a little peeved that high scores just means you might have gotten lucky. It really makes score wars feel pointless when you're dealing with scores above the gold star level. It becomes less about picking the right power ups and having the right path but more about "ok I could really use a purple note on X instrument right about now".
I never thought a game would be able to inspire the formation of a real band or strengthen friendships. Thank you Harmonix, for making Rock Band.

Challenge [username] to a Score War on [song] by [artist] for extra coins and Blitz Cred!

The user that it's recommending to send the challenge to doesn't even have the game :L
