In terms of Classic Yes...Close to the Edge, can't beat it
2nd gen Yes - 90125, A lot of diversity and a couple of gems....Hearts is really underplayed and under-rated.
Lawdog1521 - I'll go with two. Why? Anytime you have a dead clown you come out ahead.
I'd say my favorite post-Drama Yes album would likely be Magnification, or Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe if you count that.

old thread but thought id add my thoughts
1. Close to the edge - Masterpiece
2. Relayer - so dense yet more and more rewarding with each listen, Delerium is my favorite Yes song
3. Drama - Say what you will about The Buggles but Steve Howe is on fire on this album and "Into the Lens" got me into Yes.
