If you lose connection to Rock Central, it's as if the whole run happened offline. No score is recorded. So yes, you need to play the song again. Or play it in RB3.

No big deal. At least I mildly like the song. Pretty fun in Blitz as well.

EDIT: dang it! now I have to play Cool For Cats again!

I have tried downloading the RB 1 license song exporter several times from my download history on the XBOX 360. Still having zero luck getting the songs to be displayed in RB Blitz. I was however able to redownload all my DLC songs and the RB songs with no problem.

    Any ideas?

*Also I have transferred licenses already and are not eligible to try that again until January of 2013.

    Exclamation

A third of the tracks from John Lennon's Imagine album don't record scores, disconnect you from rock central, and don't appear to have any scores on the leaderboard.

    How?
    I Don't Wanna Be A Soldier Mama
    Jealous Guy
    Oh Yoko!

I checked "How?" and it seems to be available in the store.

Anyone else have this problem, or was it just some weird glitch I ran into last night?

Played "Atomic" by Blondie (a pulled song) and I got the boot after finishing. So there's one more case of that.
AsianSteev: if you can read this, put more Ska songs on the RBN! Please?

Did you actually go back to RB1 and export the songs after DLing the license key? That's all that is, is a key that allows the export to work, so you do physically need to go back to the RB1 disc and re-export. Lemme know!
I perform the greatest karaoke rendition of Born To Run that you'll ever hear. And that is no lie.

I am still having so many problems with songs skipping.
System: PlayStation 3 (320GB stock hdd on slim model)
    game: Blitz + 350 songs from RB1, RB2, Lego RB, RB3 DLC
    Problem: Music/video freezes for a 10th of a second

When contacting support I was told to check my hard drive to see if it was full.
    I have a 320GB PS3 and I have more than 30GB free so that's not the problem.

I am out of ideas. I tried reinstalling Blitz several times and no luck.

This pause/skipping of the music makes it impossible to use the Jackpot power up since it always results in a missed note.

It's extremely frustrating and I'm not the only one with the problem.

Just to try and explain what happens again:

I will start a song on Blitz and it will freeze the screen for a split second, and then the very last bit of music will repeat again. This almost always results in a missed note and always ruins a perfect solo or Jackpot power-up.

This seems to happen more often when launching a rocket or switching lanes very quickly. It sometimes doesn't happen at all, while other times it will happen upwards of 5 times in a single song. It's very random.

It also seemed like one time I played, disconnected from Rock Server Central I didn't get ANY skipping glitches.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK I've just come across my first experience with a game crash type bug.

I was responding to a Score War on Smash Mouth's All Star (PS3, EU), when to the power up screen and selected power ups (all 3 selected) then proceeded to play. On the screen which shows before the song begins, once pressing X to start, the game froze. white boxes appeared in places where the text was and the power up icons became pixelated.

I should add the entire PS3 froze, requiring a forced reset, so maybe Blitz isn't to blame! Although Freezing hasn't been a common occurence with general use of the PS3.

Nevertheless I have included a photograph of what I saw on screen at the time of freezing in case it is useful to Harmonix.

    Photo of freeze:

I reloaded RB Blitz and followed the exact same steps as before to respond to a Score War (the same one for Smash Mouth) and picked identical powerups without issue this time. A once off lock up maybe?

Now here's an interesting problem: I'm from EU, and I bought the game from Playstation Network Store recently. The game file is shown to be only 6kb, and after downloading and installing it's nowhere to be found in the PS3 files, nor are the Blitz songs anywhere to be found in the song list of RB3. No re-downloading or -installing the 6kb game file will help. Any help?

There are 3 parts to the RBB download (on PS3, at least). The demo, the unlock, and the track pack. The 6kb thing you're talking about is probably the unlock (which probably doesn't do much of anything if you try to unpack it before having DLed and unpacked the demo). The game itself (the 'demo', which becomes the 'full' game after applying the unlock) is something like 350MB. When you actually launch the game after unlocking it, it will prompt you to download the song pack (which is about 900MB if I remember correctly). And it's only after downloading and unpacking THAT will you see these songs in RB3.

Now, the PS3 game connections to the stores are having trouble right now, so it wouldn't surprise me if the song pack download may be hitting a snag as a side-effect of that issue.
