Amazing week, I will be picking up all three, though I would have much, MUCH rather had the week been:

"Lonely Is The Night" - Billy Squier
"I Ran (So Far)" - A Flock Of Seagulls
"Space Age Love Song"- A Flock Of Seagulls

I'm going to take a wild guess and say this is the only FoS we're ever going to get since none of their other songs were nearly as popular as this one, but Space Age is such a better song. Even so, great choices for this week, Harmonix!

Edit: Nevermind, after looking at the charts "SpaceAge Love Song" was much more popular than I remembered. Here's hoping to a 3-pack sometime in the future!

Oh no no no thats not what I meant The music itself is licensed it has to be, but I read that game devs don't pay for the use of using .ogg or Ogg Vorbis as a form of audio compression, yet they would if they used say MP3 or Windows Media Audio.
Come on lets give these 5 artists some DLC love please!

    Bruce Springsteen
    Mumford and Sons
    Fine Young Cannibals
    Ocean Colour Scene
    Feeder

I'd be inclined to comb through the catalog myself and crunch the numbers, if no one else has done so. I like statistical minutiae like that. I'll do it Sunday.

If 50 artists have three songs and just 10 have only one, the average is below three. So that doesn't really work.
This was just scanning my thread from my phone so the numbers may not be exact(I'll give it a +/-10), but here's what I came up with.

There's a possibilty(without looking at release dates) of about 30 instances where 2 singles could be paired up with a third disc song. So taking those from the singles category and adding them to the 3 pack category this is what I got.

330 instances of an artist only getting 1 or 2 songs vs. 150 instances of an artist getting 3 songs.

So we are looking at greater than 2 to 1 odds of an artist getting 1 or 2 songs vs. 3 songs.

Anyone expecting a third billy squier song soon should temper those expectations.

I will give you this nugget about more squier down the line(and hey after 4 years he has returned so he can return again, just don't expect him soon). Around 120(maybe even more) artists have returned for repeat dlc appearances.

I must say I'm pretty taken aback by everyone chomping at the bit for this song. Especially keyboardists.

Back in the day the music video for "I Ran" did more to ruffle my tail feathers than anything else did in the 80's.

Basically it was the keyboardist/singer spasticly squirming while holding down I believe a G (not the chord, just the note) for at least one measure and then switching with the same body contortions down to F (again only the note, not the chord) for the next whole measure or so. Lather, Rinse, Repeat. I haven't seen/heard the song in 30 years so I'm going by memory for this. The details might be different, but essentially the keyboard tracks for this song are minimal AT BEST.

I will happily be purchasing the Billy Squire songs, but wild horses couldn't get me to purchase that Flock of Seagulls number.

Looking at the charts, no one's even heard of Stairway to Heaven. Looking at the charts, boy, Hendrix sure is a one-hit wonder. Those charts are from decades ago, they really don't matter now. I Ran is far and away THE song by them.

It sounds like there are several different keyboard and synth tracks going on at once (I definitely hear some chords in there, but it might just be my ears picking up sound that isn't there), so hopefully HMX will merge those together.

Kind of hard to "chart" when 'Stairway to Heaven' was never officially released as a single in the US. And only released as a digital download single in 2007....
Its been almost 3 years since any new Alice In Chains DLC. ....
