I'm more annoyed by the people who are afraid of legitimate discussion, stifling the of everyone who is not 100% pro-HMX. Real discussion happens so rarely here, it's boring. It ends up seeding out anyone who isn't fine with talking about nothing 100% of the time.

another big problem with this however is, that if you defend something HMX did, then you're immediately called out for being a "HMX-Lover".

take for example the discussion about the coins in Blitz when it first came out.
I loved the coins, loved the way they worked. loved their challenge.

95% of the people that i tried to discuss it with thought i only did that because i was an HMX Fan-girl. and they actually used that as a thing so they wouldn't have to take me seriously.

That, again, is a maturity issue. Folks dismissing someone's opinion as stupid, so they can ignore folks that don't agree with them.

Well, people who do that (although, I have to admit, I rarely ever see it) are just as guilty of stifling the community as the people I mentioned. That, by no means, discredits what I said. It just brings up other bad people.

But I do think that the people you are referencing are few and far in between.

Whenever anyone says anything remotely "controversial", all we get is...
1) Really happy people going "oh noez, let's not hert the HMX's feelings, you so mean"
2) Really angry people going "you're an idiot, shut up"
3) Really annoying people going "let's talk about something else"
