RB3 Request a Feature, Bug Report and Suggestion Thread (no song requests)

What platform are you playing on? On my Xbox, downloads cannot proceed during game play; if I go to the music store and buy something and don't wait for it to finish downloading before backing out of the music store, the download will stop and won't complete until I'm back in a context where downloads can happen, like the music store or the dashboard. When I come back from the music store it will reload my song library and I can't play any songs until that finishes.

I'm on the Xbox 360 too, and yeah, SOMETIMES the downloads stop while I'm playing. But sometimes they will also run in the background. I lost two perfectly good runs of Spiderwebs thanks to this glitch.

On that note, I'm having another problem with DLC: I've downloaded Fortunate Son (the original version), but the song won't appear on my setlist. I checked for the downloaded song file in my Xbox hard disk and it's there. I tried deleting it and redownloading it, but it still won't appear (thankfully I don't need to pay for it again). Is it something I'm doing wrong or is it the game, really?

Why do you try to play when songs are downloading? Just be patient and wait for them to finish. Couldnt you guess that if it glitched up after trying to do that one time it would likely do it again?

That's because I like to test the songs out as soon as I get them. But I learned my lesson (even though the game's not-quite-freezing is kinda hilarious).

Anyway, no one's responded to my Fortunate Son problem. Any word on this?
UPDATE: The song does appear in my RB1 list, but not in the RB3 one. Something the matter?

No I didn't. I would've known it if that was the case, don't you think?

Anyway, I managed to figure out the problem digging into the forum through Google: I had to delete the Song Cache and let all my songs load again when I booted up the game. When I did, the song was there with the others.

glad to find out you figured it out, but you'd really be surprised at how many people have already been here saying "I DID NOT 1-LIGHTER IT!" then refused to even turn the filter off. until 5 days later when they found out they actually did 1 lighter it

Many folks don't. Historically, folks don't even think to look till someone suggests it, and occasionally, even then they they deny it till they try and suddenly it's there.

Yeah, I check every month or two. It's very prone to happen at parties.

Huh? Doesn't it go 5 -> unrated -> 1? (That would make it more frequent that stuff accidentally gets 1-lightered, actually.)

This reminded me again why the Angry Smoke in the trainer sucks and needs to be toned down all the way. (Doesn't help that Pentatonic is an angry looking font to begin with.)
