gotta start from crash ... again (first time was migrating from WII to Xbox)

but i don't know if it is normal but i see it only local to RB. In my profile on the XBOX all is still there, and also on rockband.com. Is that common behavior ?

Blowing the BRE on Icarus, then again in practice.

I rarely make mistakes. Most of the time, it's either my controller dropping notes, the chart being wrong, or the actual recording being wrong.


Doesn't make sense for the characters to celebrate after blowing a BRE.

Also, we need partial credit here.

I'm playing Simple Man on expert guitar and am on an FC run. I MISSED THE LAST NOTE!!!!! Are you frick'n kidding me? I'll be kicking myself for weeks over that.

You're high scores will populate back onto the menu through the network, but you won't be able to see your previous star count. And you loose all of your set lists, fans, and play count on the menus. But everything retained on the RB scores site. So my game shows like 196 million fans, but this site shows 242 million. And I'll have a song that looks like I haven't played it before in my game, but then I'll get a high score from the network. I makes things a bit messy.

for myself i only lost my game file so no downloading pain but still some goals and/or GS and/or HS that won't be able to be redone... .... well in a near future for sure !

Had to search for this thread to find it, but...

My Rock Band epic fail of the YEAR!

After putting it off for quite some time, I finally got around to purchasing the Mustang Pro guitar. I received it today, opened up the package, assembled it, watched the intro videos, and moved onto the tutorials. And that's as far as I got. Barely ten minutes out of the package, and I got to discover that the guitar functionality of the controller did not work one bit. The d-pad, select, start, and other buttons worked well, but when I tried to strum no strings registered, when I placed my hands on the fret buttons nothing registered. This happened in both practice mode and while playing a regular song.

I contacted Madcatz tech support, and their response was that it would be best to simply return it because sending it in to them would take 4-6 weeks. Luckily I had purchased it from Amazon.com, which the tech support guy said was the best place to get the Mustang from in case of incidents like this.

Sadly, I had set today aside to start learning Pro Guitar as I won't have another chance to do so for a few weeks because of work. So, now I have to wait another few weeks before I can get started... Makes me almost wish I would have purchased one two years ago when I had more time to play.
