That's what Pro-mode is for, but I can address these all individually.

Not going to happen. It's been talked about since GH4 did it, but they decided not to, and now they likely wont because of the Keys compatibility on legacy charts. It's hard to record not hitting a note on keys.

Whammy bar/effects pad is about as close as you'll get to this.

You should manage your band, meaning starting from scratch practicing looking for members (better or worse) if you don't have enough players, looking for places to have shows, recording your album... This has a lot of possibilites. You could try to get signed by a label but then you would have to give them part of your benefits from the shows and probably play songs you don't want to. Or you could perform a lot (meaning you have to repeat the same songs) to get enough money and pay a studio for yourself. It could be fun to have to deal with internal crisis like making your drummer go to rehab or that kind of stuff.
What i mean is that this would make a really interesting and funny career mode and it's something rock games haven't even tried.
Similar concepts have been addressed here. A more comprehensive career/band mode would be welcome by many people. How in depth people want it tends to vary. Keep in mind, anything that is beyond playing songs and setlists likely requires a lot of extra work, and takes up valuable disc space, so there are some potential limits.

This would allow you to plug a headset in your instrument or to use rock band mics under your profile and not use two different profiles. I've played a lot guitar + vocals and it just feels dumb watching two different people on screen.
Voxtaring avatars has been a request for a while. I think they could have made AIM better by offering that as a voxtar experience rather than having the keys player on vox. Sadly, the folks that this would cater too is small enough it's unlikely a very high priority. I'd rather they get on letting you play with a full 5 man scoring band.

Last game came out 2 years ago, and introduced Pro mode. Most of the rest of the basic mechanics of the game are tried and true, so you're not going to see much change there.

Well, if there is ever another core RB game... hopefully the XMB boot can be figured out.
In general, hope it’s a stronger, longer lasting ‘video game’ than RB3 was. The music’s great, always has been. Just hoping for the future to bring a better environment (perhaps some more personality all around again) to play with it in.

Hope to hear more news/info about what’s in the works soon game wise. Maybe something else from HMX will catch my eye, time will tell.

I'd like to suggest something that won't probably happen on RB3, but maybe in future RBs: The ability to hide greyed songs when you play online.

Of course it's a valid suggestion. That's why it's been brought up 5474563465786734532167863789674385345 times before.

GNF said that graying songs out is good because the alternative is people complaining that their songs disappeared when they went online.

I said that the solution is a pop-up saying "other players do not have some of your songs" or something to that effect.

I miss those days. This is just an awkward transition between those days and the days of impending RB4 (when I can turn the suggestion machine back on).
