Here's the latest from the DLC Production team:

* The live version of "The Weight" is credited in our files as coming from the 1972 album Rock of Ages

* Our version of "Jessica" clocks in at 7:08, putting this in album version territory lengthwise

* "Closer" is pretty much identical to the radio edit. It's the album length version with a slightly longer intro, but with the obvious fudge bombs blanked out.

I'll post an update if any additional info comes in.

The 4:00 "Jessica" edit cuts out much of the second guitar solo IIRC, so the full length cut will be suitably epic for both guitar and keys. Oh...that piano solo!

So...Closer is basically the 6+ minute album version with just all instances of f*ck censored? Good. Ever since I Will Possess Your Heart I've avoided buying songs that I loved but had unnecessary length editing. I still have the slightest grudge against HMX for that bulls**t, cause I'm pretty sure they said that they had access to the masters for the full 8 min version, but it's not enough for me to stop supporting them. Anyway, glad to have Closer. I remember Cold but it was never anything too special. I need to listen to everything else.

Good God what a week. The only song I'm unsure about getting is The Weight, and there's a good chance I'll end up liking that as well.
