    Whew boy, that was great. Very emotional and visually gripping. The first movie in 3D I actually enjoyed. Possibly because the 3D wasn't overbearing, like in every other 3D movie to exist.
    Other movies where I actually enjoyed the 3D and thought it added to the composition:
    * Hugo
    * Prometheus

    Watched Jeff, Who Lives at Home the other day. Liked it. Not always a fan of Jason Segel's but I liked him in this.

    I enjoyed Prometheus in 2D, and never saw Hugo, but heard it was great for the visuals. If ever I get the chance to see those in 3D, I will certainly give them a try.

    Seriously, you're not including Avatar? I mean, it's Avatar's fault that $18 movie tickets for a 3D showing are now a thing (and the only reason so goddamn many movies use it), but it was remarkably done in that movie. Certainly added more than the story did.

    You're slightly more forgiven for omitting How to Train Your Dragon, but that one was amazing in 3D as well.

    Eh, more sensible than the opposite extreme, but there are occasional cases where it's worth it.

    I dont think so. $20 for a movie ticket and a massive headache. I blame the resurgence of 3D on Avatar which is why I have yet to, and will never, see Avatar. Vote with my wallet.

    If you're not gonna see it in 3D, you're not missing anything too wonderful.

    Your loss, Avatar is a good movie. You don't have to watch it in 3D.
