Drums (at least regular drums) certainly seem to be the least played on RBN songs. There are some songs I'll see weeks after release with 5 or 6 scores on regular, and a few dozen on pro. Don't know if this trend is the same for HMX DLC, since I haven't bought as much recently.

People just expected it to polish up and fix the flaws of RB3. Like RB2 did for RB1.

RB3 has so many problems that a RB4 really needs to happen but unfortunately wont

You do know we'll have new consoles next year, which could use some new software for it for us to continue using our music libraries...

I don't even know if HMX DLC will make it another year. We've had quite a few weeks this year of only 1 or 2 songs plus, as HMX keeps saying, there are "secret projects" in the works. I would so love to believe that one of those is RB4 in some way but I just dont see it happening.

Hopefully they will keep the RBN going and even continue porting to the PS3. At least until all the authoring companies go under.

By some definitions, two is "a few", but I wouldn't call it "quite a few". (I'd call it "a couple".)

    6/12/12 - Incubus - "Drive"
11/27/12 - Carly Rae Jepsen - "Call Me Maybe"; Marcy Playground - "Sex and Candy"

    1) Didn't Henry say there were "a few" 70s songs when referring to the Blitz soundtrack, and there turned out to be "a couple"?
    2) MMB is probably including those weeks with all the Green Day: Rock Band tracks, which had one (Oh Love) or two (Kenny Loggins) new tracks, bringing us to four. He might also be throwing Blitz in there, but I really wouldn't.

I guess that's fair. From my perspective, that week was huge - the amount of production time required to prepare and submit all the singles was well upwards of 5 times a normal week's workload, and I think I started work on it some two months forward from when I normally would have. But from the perspective of a consumer who already owned the Green Day export, that would have been only a 2-song week.

Could be the insane average difficulty of RBN songs and the extremely misleading tiers that does that. If N9 and Shipwrecked can be tier 4 then you never know what can hide itself inside a innocent looking tier 5 song.

Also, on that vocals thing, perhaps it's that the mainstream who do not buy any/much DLC play bass a lot more, and so more overall scores are registered into the system, but the more ardent crowd plays vocals more, and that's why the DLC shows vocals as the next biggest scoreboard after guitar.

I actually like both of the SHIROCK tracks, so thanks Harmonix for introducing me to a band i've never heard of before!

I would've picked up The Bunny The Bear track as well, I loved the intro with the keys and could even handle the slightly higher than i'd like vocals, but the screaming parts were what killed it for me.

Please, please, please bring over the other 3 songs by an Unkindness. Or, even if it's just "Fragments" by an Unkindness - that'd make my year!

Oh, and btw, not all tracks are available in PAL regions (AU/EU/UK).

These are still marked as "currently unavailable"...

Blackguard - "This Round’s On Me"
Francisco Meza - "The Restless Mind"
Jerry Naylor - "That’ll Be The Day"
The Blue News - "Just A Game"
    Vangough - "Drained"
