A Crue pack would be awesome! But I'd throw out Home Sweet Home for Wild Side and switch the Shout at the Devil to the 97' remix, as it's really bad ass. A great 4th song for the pack would be Primal Scream. I'm not big on bringin Home Sweet Home to the game as it would be a snoozer, the way most great power ballads translate into the game. And I really don't get the keys hype over it, they're only in the intro and outro. Heck, you probably couldn't even get to a 4x multiplier before the song ended, lol.
Ok, the songs I can find in the hint are:
The Cure - "Homesick"
Baha Men - "Who Let The Dogs Out"
Rancid - "Salvation"
Evanescence - "Never Go Back"
and a song by Dire Straits.
Wishlist (possible artists):

[1] The Cure
[7] AFI

I'd be down with that.
"Lie down with lambs." is a Genesis reference.
"too hot in this house!" There's a My Ruin song called "Hot In The House Of God"
"angels or demons" There's a Melissa Otero song of almost this title from RBN last month. PS3 hint?
"or are they vultures?" Them Crooked Vultures other single listed on wikipedia is "Mind Eraser, No Chaser", which kinda goes with the overall theme of the post.
