Of course the few Wii users who did buy lots of songs will be upset about it, but they can't justify keeping a costly content stream open for so few people.
Oscar basically said all that can be said about it along with Lachesis. I know where you are coming from, I was on the Wii for over 2 years, spent at least $200-300 and I don't even want to think about replacement guitars, I bought RBN tracks on the Wii as soon as I could, by the end of my Wii cycle I had nearly 1/3 of what the Wii had to offer for RBN. Literally if you want any RBN track, or the best support for Rock Band in general, 360 is your best bet with PS3 at a close second. That all we can really offer you bud. I was definitely upset about the stopping but for me, it was a great fun, the Wii got some great tracks like KMFDM (which the Wii can still buy), Amberian Dawn, Dear & the Headlights, Bang Camero, etc... All I have left to say as much as really anyone else here is that either move on (which I know isn't easy, definitely set me back on money for a little bit or deal with what the Wii has to offer, there are 159 Rock Band Network tracks available to you, make use of what you like and maybe test out some new ones.

How would you feel if you bought the same product as me and paid the same price as I did and you got less content? Less and less over time, sometimes with a reason by official statements and sometimes no reason at all. Your (respectful) answer is to spend more money?
Anyone who would say to another person doesnt care about anyone other than themselves, and is self serving by trying to keep support going for the 360/ps3 and end support for anything else that they dont have! Because of the lack of response by HMX to wii owners you ps3/360 owners feel free to troll us till we stop posting about these issues. As you see HMXLachesis is now even saying to get another console to solve these issues.
I have bought Lego:RB RockBand 2 Rockband 3 and 2x the hardware plus over 200 DLC songs. The wiiu will be under the christmas tree this year. Hopefully RB4 will be done the same for all systems.

Like I said, it's understandable for the Wii user who actually are interested in the RBN to be upset but you also need to think of things from Harmonix's point of view. If it's costing them more money than it's earning them, there's no way it's going to keep happening. If there was one single person on the Wii who bought every single song released but nobody else bought any, the result would be the same even though it wouldn't be fair on that person. Everyone would love for all platforms to be totally equal, but sadly it just isn't always practical.

If you're trying to credit me with "The Touch", that wasn't me. I'm the "Pac-Man Fever" guy. And I still find it hilarious that "Do the Donkey Kong" will never be on Nintendo's console.

The Wii has always been the weakest system for Rock Band. I feel much worse for the PlayStation 3 players where Rock Band 1 and 2 started out pretty much equal, then RBN came around built on the Xbox, then XMB crashes.

Ahh I see. It was awhile ago but I do remember you being outspoken about trying to get more of stans songs on RBN. Hopefully your songs will be able to get to wiiu users in the next rockband game. Right now i think the only thing stopping HMX from having anything to do with Nintendo is whether or not they feel its profitable. And not taking the chance will solidify the loss of sales.
