Yeah, Far Cry 3 looks really good. I'm not sure I'll get it for a while, but there's a 70% chance I'll get it eventually. The reason I'm not getting it right away is because I'm still going to buy a Wii U, when there's one in stock, and get New Super Mario Bros. U. Also, I spent most of my other money I had on Doom 3 BFG, Fallout 3, DLC for Fallout 3, and Christmas presents for family. I'll probably pick up Far Cry 3 on Boxing Day, if I have any cash left from Christmas.

They're both great games. I prefer the Halo franchise, because I like the core gameplay, forge/custom games, story, and multiplayer more, but I do really love open world shooters. I've barely played any Far Cry multiplayer, so I don't know what it's generally like. Also, the story in past Far Cry games pales in comparison to the story of the Halo games and books. I don't know if 3's story is any improvement.
