I did say "generally." And what part of that did you not understand?

I know RBN content is not selected by HMX, and understand its purpose. I have just seen many replies countering complaints of low DLC volume weeks that throw RBN in as evidence of higher DLC volume. For me, it is not.

given my username i feel i must comment. You are kidding yourself if you say you hate growls and like Korn. some examples and popular songs

    Twist
    Blind
    A.D.I.D.A.S
    Good God
    Thoughtless
    Freak on a Leash
    etc. etc.

It's rare to find a korn song that doesn't have "growl" or skat singing. It's his signature and what makes his voice unique.

I also feel the need to completely agree with this statement. It's top of my most wanted RB World request list. Not sure if they care about that though. I know INXS are a bit iffy about licensing music though I was reading, have only recently started to do so in the past year or so really. Cautious of Michael Hutchence's legacy... same reason there hasn't been a film about him, though they are filming one starting next year I believe.

Sure, there are some growls, but most of Korn's lyrics are clear and intelligible. I am not a big fan of Twist because it is mostly growls. A.D.I.D.A.S. is pretty clear throughout. My favorite Korn album was the untitled album, which had a ballad on it. (Kiss-an awesome song, btw)

Wow. Do you ever get to pick a song played at your parties? If so, RBN can be played.

Unless your party is VERY small, SOMEONE will be playing SOMETHING they haven't heard before at SOME point.

If you understood what the hell Jonathan Davis was saying in "Freak On A Leash" right before the lines "Some things / Some things they buy" (which I actually thought was something else as well), then your ability to understand lyrics has grown to superhuman levels. I was personally very sure he was just making random sounds...

I don't know how some of you think it's hard to understand freak on a leash. It's skat noises which are very easy to hear(you won't "understand" them because they're not words) and are not anything like growls. Then when he gets to the words at that point he throws in some growl but it is easily understandable. It's a far cry from the growling vocals in a song like visions or a band like five finger death punch(which I actually like).

    Edit:
I should clarify that last point some. What I mean is comparing a song where he growls one word a few times to songs or bands that growl throughout large parts or the whole of a song is being disingenuous.

    And yes I spelled scat with a k as a joke(corn/korn).

This just doesn't look like a good week. I love Raise Your Glass and We Are Young, but I already have them on Blitz. And those other two songs are just...*vomits*

"Party Hard" is an anthem for those 18 year olds drenched in internet reference douchebaggery that insist they are still 10 year olds. No thanks.

"Tonight Tonight"? Who would've thought that there's a band out there who wanted to be a fusion between Blink-182 and One Direction. No thanks.

"We Are Young" is where indie cliches from different intersections smash into a disastrous 7-car pile-up at a broken light down at Williamsburg. No thanks.

"Raise Your Glass". Hi, do we really need another Pink song? Especially one that happens to be straight from the over-formulaic template of minute-ready mainstream pop music? No thanks.
