When those Pro upgrades are released, people that downloaded Blitz should see the tracks marked as "Purchased" in the store, allowing them to buy upgrades without rebuying the tracks. It should work exactly the same way as the recent wave of Green Day DLC / GDRB exports handled Pro upgrades.

I guess the Rock Band Music Store app needs to be updated then because it won't let me purchase the pro guitar/bass upgrades (despite having the full Green Day: Rock Band export pack).

HOWEVER...

When I got on Rock Band 3 and used it's in-game "GET MORE MUSIC" option, I had the option of purchasing the pro guitar/bass upgrades.

For those of you wondering, the Green Day songs with a pro guitar/bass upgrade are:

• "American Idiot"
• "When I Come Around"

Also, I see that the Green Day song pages on RockBand.com need to be updated to say that the pro guitar/bass upgrade is available.

I do like growling. I'm just saying with that song it's rather hard to understand.

And IDK if The Myriad Burial is progressive death metal or deathcore. The song shows elements of both, with it's changing time signatures and quiet segments and it's breakdowns.

Sooooo looks like HMX is slacking pro upgrades since a couple of weeks, I hope this will not continue. :| I am disapointed.

EDIT: I got around reading HMXHenry's posts, and I see why. I look forward seeing those blitz upgrades.

So we have two more 3 packs from Blitz artists? Here's a list of what I would want from the remaining artists:

All American Rejects - anything from Real World. That's one of the first albums I ever owned.
A7X - Just about anything, they have some pretty fun guitar songs
Barenaked Ladies - $1,000,000
Blink 182 - nothing. I already have what I want from them
Collective Soul - don't know their other stuff, but Shine was really good.
Fallout Boy - *see Blink 182*
Foo Fighters - No Way Back. After that I have no clue
Foster the People - Still haven't picked up the two singles. Doubt we're getting more anyways
Great White - Do they even have any other big songs?
Iron Maiden - at least Children Of The Damned. I'll gladly take more after that.
Kelly Clarkson - Since U Been Gone, Breakaway
Kool & The Gang - Celebration
Living Colour - *see Great White*
Maroon 5 - Harder to Breathe, after that I'm good with what we have from M5
Queen - Confirmed out, but if there is a quick turnaround I'll gladly accept it.

RHCP - Tons of stuff, but if we need to narrow it down to two I'll take Stadium Arcadium and Can't Stop :P

Dunno about Great White, but I sure would love Tears for Fears' "Sowing the Seeds of Love," which I believe was a pretty good size hit.


As for this week, I know a lot of people are down about the Blitz repeats and the general suckness of Hot Chelle Rae, but for me getting just "Party Hard" is equivalent to getting 5 decent songs. That song is so joyfully stupid and fun...I let out a gasp of excitement when I saw the previous leak.

And I have to admit, I probably will be getting "Tonight Tonight," despite it being the bad kind of stupid. I suspect it's going to actually be fun to sing, and my wife and daughter really enjoy recognizable pop hits in the game.

Well it looks like the Rock Band party is starting to wind down. Getting all this cheesy, terrible 90's alternative rock the last few weeks is just you guys scraping the bottom of the barrel. I hope you have nice budget for DLC in 2013, maybe we'll get some great songs in the first quarter or two, but if you continue to release this bargain junk its just going to show that you aren't committed to this game financially as you once were. Its going to be a sad day when I put down the plastic axe, but I feel like its starting to head in that direction. Please wow us with some amazing music in 2013, break the bank!
