Chaotrope is stupid for the game. It's hard for the sake of hard. It's not even good to listen to.

I wish we had bands like OK Go and Of Montreal releasing songs for RBN again, instead of crappy midi music made for the sake of difficulty. Hell, get people like the Mountain Goats or the Magnetic Fields on RBN, I'd love to play some of their songs.

And I'm super hyped for Gen VI.

I miss the days when Pokemon was simple and didn't require 3D environments and Pokemon Stadium battle sequences. I'm perfectly fine with Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.

In other words, I'm "that guy."

Pokemon was never simple. Hidden stats got streamlined in the later generations, but the techniques required to succeed have gotten more complex. And Pokemon Stadium was awesome. And Platinum is the best Pokemon game.

Gen 3 is the worst

Gen 2 > Gen 4 > Gen 3 > Gen 1 > Gen 5

I don't think there is a generation that I would avoid.

What I would like to see is a version that combines all the regions. It's the reason Gold/Silver is the best.

Even though I found Gen 5 to be the weakest, I still thoroughly enjoyed it.
And I put "all region game" alongside Pokemon MMO and Pokemon 2D Fighter as pipedream material.

I understand the trepidation behind the move to 3D, but frankly I'm happy that Game Freak/The Pokemon Company are getting off their asses and making an effort to shake things up somewhat.

They tried that with Gen 5 and I wasn't too thrilled with the results.
