Got another bill in the mail today! This one was for "physician's services."
I saw the guy for less than 2 minutes. He shined a light in my eyes (which at least 2 other people also did) and ears, prescribed meds and ordered a scan. And since this isn't House, I know he didn't perform the scan himself.
The bill for that? 639 bucks.
Now, if that was my entire bill, for everything that happened that night, I could almost be okay with it. But we're up to almost five grand now, and at an hourly rate it would be almost $1,000 an hour. How can they actually expect anyone to pay that? Anyone who could wouldn't need to.
