well, people complained so much and so loud, AAF not only pulled out, but wanted nothing to do with this anymore. just like how Guitar Hero got killed. people need to stop complaining about the wrong things. if they complained about the right things, we'd be so much better off now... but no, people only complain about the wrong things... like complaining about wikileaks rather than what wikileaks found out... makes no sense, they find out your government is taking money from big banks and rather than complain about corruption, they complain it leaked... what is wrong with people? same thing here... and there... and there... all the things I said are the same. also, I'm sane.

That sounds... a tad unlikely, but I would say the complaints where 100% justified on the vocal chart for Movies. Just happy they fixed that (love the chart the way it is now btw so I am not complaining anymore, just to have that mentioned)

they fixed it immediately, and refunded anyone who asked. as far as I'm concerned, any complaints after the initial mistake were unjust. and so many people were shouting hate that amounted to "burn the witch". and demanding a different authoring group and demanding more than they had the right.

as... fast...as... they were able. it's not easy to chart and get stuff re-added.... in case you didn't know. still, it's not like they just said "eff you, we do what we want". that's the attitude of the forum members, not ASP. you guys and your entitlement issues... you were lucky we got any AAF at all.

As an RBN author, yes I do know it's not easy to rechart and resubmit something and I wouldn't expect it to be done immediatelly (indeed, I know it would be physically impossible). I was simply pointing out a factual inaccuracy in your post.

Honestly, I think more people should be more demanding of RBN authors. "Oh so it has a few charting errors, it's lucky we got the song at all" isn't really an attitude that encourages good charts.

no, that's not what I'm saying... if there are charting errors, they have a responsibility to fix it, but let's put it this way - if people were being horrible to you, why would you want to do anything for them?

The fact is that they coped to the error, told everyone they that bought it they'd get a refund and they fixed it and followed through. that's all anyone should have asked for. but instead people demanded AAF get a different authoring group, that ASP be disbanded, and more... you would have thought they committed a hate crime on national TV... the error was so small, and it's not like ASP is 100% to blame, it made it through all the same checks everything else does after all... if I were ASP, I wouldn't want to do anything for such horrible, hateful and ungrateful people. But then again, I am one of those strange people who believe in honor, kindness and peace... I think Limp Bizkit said it best "I know why you wanna hate me, Cuz hate is all that the world has even seen lately" a truer statement was never said. all people do now a days is spread hate... about anything and everything... there's no more love. Everyone's first instinct is to argue and tell everyone else they are wrong and should die for whatever opinion they hold that is different...

There is always going to be a handful of people that overreact. Their overreaction doesn't make the vocal chart any better for those who voice their concerns in a reasonable manner. It'd be irresponsible for a company to ignore their many reasonable customers and make the argument "well, a few of you complained rudely, so why should we do anything for anyone?"

Anyway, this is getting quite off-topic, so let's please try to steer conversation back to ThatAuthoringGroup.
