Apparently I get a little dyslexic when I make threads after 8pm. Fixed now!

Just got done listened to st Elmo fire, and I'm a little puzzled. For everyone who is excited for this song, do you like this song for ironic reasons?

I find St Elmo's Fire to be one of the absolute worst, cheesiest, cringe-inducing songs Ive ever heard.

For some songs, "you had to be there". I think that especially applies to a lot of the music (and movies) of the 1980s. I was in HS and college during that decade, and that's really the perfect age to be soaking up pop culture. I'm not going to put that particular track in my top 100 of the decade but it's still worth buying, for me. No, not everyone will love it, and that's allowed too.

I was born in 1986, and I'm more excited about that song than any non-Aerosmith official DLC in like a year.
