SillyStou: What will happen to this place when Rock Band ceases to exist?
RockBandRocker: We will all migrate to the Dance Central forums. It will be like Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt.
Munnchy: Only Flashier, with impeccable dance moves.
RockBandRocker: With more glitter and glam. We will survive
If anyone cares what I got, it was a 47" LG TV for the living room, a 39" Insignia TV for my room. Both of them are LCDs. Also got some surround sound for the Living room, and some other nessesary cords that I needed.
The old TV in my room was some Sony TV. I'd say it's about as old as I am. I've wanted to get rid of that thing for at least 5 years. Mine already hooked up fine and running GT5 (which looks amazing now!) the one in the living room is having a little bit of an issue. Also, wanted to get Lego Rock Band while I was there so I could export that, but they've completley sold out and the nearest Best Buy that has one is still pretty dang far from here. My mom does seem to be OK with ordering the game online, which for some reason I didn't think she would.
I have one question about this that one of you might be able to answer. I've heard that with these fancy LCDs that you need to change the settings so stuff doesn't fuse into the TV. (like the score/star counter in RB3) The problem is that I don't see a special gaming picture set-up on it. It has these settings:
