Burn-ins arent really a problem anymore. I did nothing to any of my TVs and things will be left on for hours upon hours and nothing happened. The only thing youll have to do now is mess with calibration/

this... also you might want to get a sound system... I know when I got my most recent flat screen the sound quality was horrible... but that could be that my TV just sucks

If you have a RB guitar then auto calibration will give you the numbers which you can enter into GH and it works great.

I have an LG TV, 2 come to think of it, and as far as I know. Image burns are fairly rare. Just turn the tv on standby if you need to do something.

Dammit, you had to put 2 FTP songs in your list. Overall it's rather good although I see some obvious omissions from your list that I would have included (e.g. "Breaking the Habit", "Helena", "Cry Thunder").

There were 4 contributors, grumble. We only got to pick 5 each, so two songs from one artist was bound to happen (it happened twice). As I said in the article, picking 5 favourites from an entire years worth of content was really tricky.

... Had I had more choices, Helena might have made the cut :P

You dont need to get a sound system. If the sound quality is that bad its probably your TV all my TV and my current monitor all sound fine. The only problem is my monitor is a little too quiet and can be a pain to adjust volume.

LG's actually have pretty good speakers. But it varies with the model and size. My 21" is too bassy, the 32" is just right.

You can buy cheap speakers with a sub woofer anyway. Kind of essential if you have rocksmith, unless you found the god like tv that doesn't create a lag issue...

You can calibrate with any instrument but you can only use auto-calibration with the RB2 and forward guitars. Auto isnt necessary as all you need to do it strum to the beat.
