25 or 6 to 4 is by far my favorite on disc guitar chart. Pretty sure it's my highest song playcount overall with about 35. Don't have much of an opinion on pro-tar (would like to, but have never seen one anywhere and I don't wanna order one online)

From what I've read, The Only Exception is quite easy. And obviously TTFAF is very lolhard. What is your skill level on pro-tar to where you can enjoy both so much?

I dabble in Medium Pro Guitar and Hard/Expert Pro Bass.

What riff? So Far Away is 95% slow tempo chords when you take out the leads. Would be a bore on Pro-Guitar....

The Wicker Man is mostly chords too, but at least it's more upbeat and will be decently fun on Pro-Guitar.

Doesn't matter though because Once Bitten, Twice Shy should have clearly gotten the Pro upgrade this week. And even Death On Two Legs I would have put ahead of both The Wicker Man and So Far Away if it was up to me.

And after reading that The Only Exception is your favorite Pro-Guitar song, it makes sense that So Far Away would be your pick for the upgrade over the others since both songs are acoustic ballads which mostly consist of slow tempo strumming of chords. Not really the most exciting type of song for a pro upgrade.

I'm sorry for making you go through all of that but I don't understand a word of what you're trying to say. I want to learn how to play So Far Away on a guitar a lot more than The Wicker Man, assuming I have the ability to play both and the ability to only be able to play one. The song's guitar part speaks to me, whereas the guitar part of The Wicker Man is just "slightly cool". Oh well. I'm going to buy the upgrade anyway.

I feel the same exact way, but I stand by what I said. For the majority of people, Wicker Man was the right choice.

It's all opinions so there's no right or wrong answer unless there's no guitar and bass in the song. Imagine if we got "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction on Valentines Day week and that got a pro upgrade, the majority of these forums would be outraged but there would be people who play RB being happy about it.

You're right that there is no one right choice to make everyone happy, but you're wrong about my point, which is there will be a song that makes the most people happy.

Being that the forums make up a good chunk of pro players I'd say forum reaction is a good indication of "right" or "wrong" choice for upgrades, as opposed to forum reaction not usually being a good indication of song and artist choices.

Would've preferred Great White to get the pro upgrade. Iron Maiden already has 3 pro upgrades. Diversification!

Umm...as of now we have only 2 upgrades for Maiden, THIS will be our 3rd one

To my understanding this shouldn't affect any of the back catalog pricing, only content moving forward.

I access the store on wednesday just to buy the Aerosmith pack and only the new songs were by £1.19. Today I access the store to buy some songs from my wishlist and I was surprise that all other singles that were £0.99 are now £1.19!!!
It's too bad because now I'll have to cut some songs from my wishlist and think more before purchase a song.

It's funny that SCEE took several weeks to update all songs on Sale! and 'till now we have some RBN songs missing, but took just a few days to raise the price of all RB3 singles and packs (actually, I didn't checked all).
