Just so you know, I probably got the tier for Fitter Happier wrong. That song is just weird. As for Quest of the Manwhore, very strange song. But I can see why you like it. Not sure how well I tiered it though. Karma police was fairly logical in terms of tiers. So, I now have 4 songs left on OK Computer. I'll do 1 or 2 tomorrow, and then (hopefully) finish it on Monday.

Changing subject, GandWuser, I'm looking forward to the tiers tonight. I'm interested to know how that Klaus Schulze (which I've still not listened to any of) translates into RB tiers.

'Tis done. Really weird. For one thing, everything is synth or sample. The vocals, which were samples, are charted to vocals despite my better judgement. Also there's a synth guitar part that sounds damn near impossible to actually play, giving it a sharp spike in difficulty (yes, 3 dots is a spike).

Indeed. Without listening to it I knew it'd be strange. Did you enjoy it? And, the fact there were vocals at all surprised me, so the fact they're samples is even weirder. The tiers are probably quite accurate. And don't worry, I don't require the other 2 and a bit hours tiered. Unless of course you really want to.

Nah, I'll pass. But to answer your question, I did like it. Very beautiful.

I'm listening to it now. It's very strange, but I kinda like it. It's certainly not a RB song, but it feels like a Classical symphony more than anything. Maybe because it's mostly piano. I couldn't last all 2.5 hours though. Apparently, the entire work is the soundtrack for a play called Picasso geht Spazieren.

And I see what you mean about the Vocals. It's a woman singing, but it's not really Vocals. How'd you tier that I've no idea. Still not found that Guitar part though.

It doesn't really sound much like a real guitar. Have you ever played a MIDI that tries to sound like an acoustic guitar? That's what it sounds like. It's nearish to the end of the section.

A bit surprised you didn't listen to it before giving it to me though. Not that it really matters, I'm just saying. Speaking of which, you get to Quest Of The Manwhore yet?

I've tiered it. Check the first post.

As for the guitar, no I can't say I know what that would sound like, but I'll listen out for it if I can. And I didn't listen to it because I only heard of it from a user here (Metalhead perhaps), who mentioned it because he said it was "a really long song no one will ever tier", so since he also described it as Very strange, I thought I'd let someone else tier it. But I didn't listen to it because I thought I'd hate it. Sorry if that sounds harsh or confusing.

Okay just finished it, didn't recognise the guitar, though I'm sure with a second listen I'd hear it okay.

    *checks*

    Seems legit.

Also, here is a good example of what I mean by "MIDI guitar".

Thank you, they seem legit to me. As you said, that song is extremely odd, but it's emotionally compelling nonetheless.
