    My kids have the worst timing on the planet, every single time we think we have a moment to ourselves a shrill goes off from their room next door.

    Both of our kids are, fortunately, incredibly sound sleepers. From 7 PM to 7 AM it's pretty much impossible to wake them unless they're not feeling well.

    It's very nice to have the evenings to ourselves, as well as every Tuesday and Wednesday, since they're both at the daycare all day on those days. Granted, the missus and I usually spend those days working, but yesterday afternoon she treated me to a surprise lunch and shopping trip as her early Valentine's Day present. Fun times.
