I forgot that I had 2. Interstate Love Song by STP and Die Alright by the Hives are some of my favorites ever. However the bad cover of Number of the Beast also came out that day.

    You got two releases... Nice!

July 5th 2012. R.E.M, System of A Down, The Vapors and Buffalo Springfield... Best birthday present ever!... I'm being serious, my birthdays have always been pretty bad :/

You have birthdays? Only thing I've done (sans last year) is take myself out for some japanese food and some ramune. Haven't had a "birthday bash" or whatever in like ten years.

Jessie's Girl is an example of every annoying 80s pop cliche with an obnoxious premise. I'm not a prude about pop and usually enjoy it like a-ha, Vapors, and many others I love to play, but Jessie's Girl is so damn generic it doesn't even deserve a footnote in the history of bland.

April 10th 2012, they dropped a 3 pack of Slayer on my birthday when the 2 weeks that sandwiched it were way superior (Evanescence and P!nk).
    Wishlist (possible artists):
    [4] The Killers
    [1] The Cure
    [7] AFI
    [3] Sum 41
    [11] Linkin Park
    [51] Green Day
    [9] The Offspring

Yet you acknowledge it with your hatred. I've always dug the guitar bits on it, at least. But yes, it's forgettable in terms of songwriting.

That's just the one that gets brought up the most when discussing bad covers, however we eventually got the real thing so this song is virtually pointless in retrospect.

Fair point. It does get really boring on the 2nd play.....

The first decent one I had was last year, and even that was awkward as hell. Not a fan of Bdays, i'd rather stay indoors and eat cake.

You are the first person I've spoken to that openly acknowledges Pink as being superior to slayer.... Congrats!
