RBN track. Not metal. One in literally hundreds.
Addicted to bad movies since 2008
I call that sort of flexibility a customizing improvement that leaves RB2 in the dust, unless like I said you can unlock facial adjustments ala RB3. If not then RB3 wins hands down.
What you really wanted to gripe about is "outfitting" and not "customization" from my point of view.
I highly agree the choice of American Pie as the last ever DLC. It's a good way to end and say goodbye to a series of amazing games.
On April 2 let's all unite together and make #TheDayRockBandDied a worldwide trend on Twitter

and changing your gear and having attitudes on your characters IS customization. that's the only thing you can even change in the game aside from what songs you choose to buy. the face mods on RB3 are a nice step forward but the glitches and unlocking methods are 10 steps back. and the visuals of the characters is another 2 steps back. my gripe is about the customization issues and its implementation. RB2 was superior.
in RBN, there's 700 metal songs and 100 prog songs
official DLC, 1 prog song per 8,5 metal songs
RBN = 1 in 7.

my love is like a candle, if you forget me, i will burn your damn house down.
As for unlocking things. I haven't had any trouble unlocking nearly everything I could want so maybe that's why my lower lip isn't quivering.
Attitudes would be -nice- but far from essential. I'll take face modification over attitudes 1000 times in 1000. I mean I AM ABLE TO RECREATE MYSELF, MY FAMILY AND ALL MY FRIENDS SO THEY APPEAR TO BE IN THE GAME!!!!
How is that not better than other iterations times like a million? Keep your clothes, your locked up gear and your attitude and give me replicas any day of the millennium.
Of course this might just be me, but honestly I'd cry a week if I couldn't make my peeps in the game well enough that when I switch it on for other people they are instantly recognized for who they are meant to be.
And check out my youtube channel to see my toons. Myself on keys slightly overweight (came out perfect) my buddy on guitar VERY overweight (also perfect) and my George Castanza in my Seinfeld cast recreatopm (which wouldn't have been possible in any other rock band game) quite chubby in his own right.
You're entitled to your OPINION but don't try to raise it to factual status. My opinion is equally as valid as yours and in my opinion RB3 is superior for customization.
While I am happy for the surprising amount of Don McLean fans, I am not particularly happy about this choice as a last song. I just never really cared for it for a number of reasons, but oh well, I have enjoyed so many other songs from dlc over the years anyway.
the stuff i mentioned ARE FACTS LOL.
rockband 3 lacked those features that rb2 had. and their face mods aren't even as deep as some other games. characters on rockband get recognized for their clothes and hairstyles on rather than their faces because the customization isn't that fine tuned to where you can make exact faces. and yes when i have a third(at least) of the store locked because i can't shell out an extra 300 to 600 bucks for instruments i don't even want to play, it becomes a problem.
