Not a bad list, although not very exciting for me.

Muse seems to be missing (considering how popular they are both in the US and UK)

Radiohead, for the same reason.

Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, and The Killers are all popular modern alternative bands that probably deserve a mention.

I'm glad to see The Cure (No Fascination Street?) and King Crimson in there.
