I've been playing Rock Band online a couple times a week for the last month or so. It's been interesting because I haven't found that many people randomly with DLC (I like variety) and it seems like if I don't play on Expert drums or guitar or if I don't get 100% I'll get kicked from the band... /sigh.

I really don't care what level people play on as long as they are having a good time. I like to play at a lower level so it's easier to save my bandmates...that's just how I roll.

Feel free to drop me a FR - HMXzip. Sometimes I'm rocking out with my roommate but I'm generally around on my own looking for some online jamming. I'll play any instrument...I just love this game (and my job )

I can't promise I'll be getting the Pixies right away because I can't seem to tear myself away from COD4 (I pwn!) and that other game...um, oh yeah, MGS4. But I'll definitely be picking it up in the near future.
    I love you..

Thanks Sean for an awesome playing time. Me and my friends got to play with you, and then later in the night we had an all expert band which was amazing.

Thanks to everybody I played with last night! I had a really good time and ended up playing for something like 3 or 4 hours. Also one of our audio team guys, Jeremy, was at my house playing the guitar and doing the occasional vocals so it was rad.

I also think I am going to do these types of things more often. At least every album. I'll also try to get some of the many HMX PS3 owners to maybe also participate in these from time to time as I don't believe I will be getting the system any time soon unless I am hit with a sack of money I didn't see coming.

Oh and to NeedlEEr - this was not an official, sanctioned Rock Band event. I tried to make this clear that it was just me being excited about the album and wanting to play it with the community. I apologize if that wasn't clear enough and hopefully we'll get on and play next time.

No MGS love for you, either? It's okay. I'm in the same boat, I feel your pain, and I'm here for you. Don't be afraid to cry- I'm sure not.

I haven't really liked a MGS since the first one. I actually have an intense aversion to two things - forced stealth gameplay and cutscenes. I dig and respect that lots of people are into it, it just isn't my bag.

I soooooo agree with you...I can't belive that we are in the minority with this...I also think the way MG controls is sub-par...

I never really took the stealth approach. More of a Rambo type experience for me...

Anyway, for the sake of keeping the thread on topic, how was the turnout for the album play last night? And I have to ask this one- did you encounter many quitters or was a fairly decent crowd out?
