For every good or little above mediocre song in Lego Rock Band there are like two or three that make me hope this game fails. That cover of "Wild One" is God ****ing tear my ears out terrible. Just because some of these songs are great in movie montages doesn't mean they work well in a rhythm game. Also I'll just flat out and say it, this game kinda feels like a step back for Harmonix. I Know I'm not the target demographic, but was there REALLY that big of a selling point in slapping the Lego name on the game that besides graphically only has minor differences? Especially with the question of how well do these games sell since so far all those Lego games get marked down pretty drastically within months of release. That and what friggin kid knows Brian Adams? I'm ****ing 23 years old and I barely remember Brian Adams. Really? I Mean the Rock Band engine is still great and all, but this game feels...pointless cash in to have something for holiday season that relatives can get for kids last second.
Even for $50 (and additional $10 transfer fee) this game makes me glad I didn't buy it on launch. Still going to try and go for achievements with Nate and all, but this game as of now doesn't offer much.
