I was into the first album. Yeah I love Peace Sells and RIP but Killing is My Business really felt like thrash metal. Just my opinion anyway.

Holy Wars is the best example of this. The opening riff goes on forever. The first time I heard it, I was like "is this the whole song; how lame", because it's not that interesting a riff, and drags on forever. When I was trying to like the album, I always skipped over Holy Wars, for this reason.
Hangar 18's solo is also way too long, which is sad, because the first part of the song is pretty cool. It's like halfway through they wanted to make a metal Freebird with nothing that makes Freebird good.

I actually thought the opening riff part was too short, it was awesome enough to merit another 30 or so seconds

In my statistcal observations using a carefully planned system involving twelve abacii, five gel pens, fifty cans of Sprite and a CD player, more like.

No, I'm sure I used Sprite. Unless the bastards at the packing factory put Dr. Pepper in my Sprite cans.

Lucretia is my favorite Rust In Peace track and I know it's unheard of but my favorite Megadeth album is Countdown To Extinction.
