Tim and Let It Be are the essentials, if you don't like anything else, that's fine, but at least gives those two albums the most attention. Sorry Ma... is cool too, anything with Bob Stinson on it is golden.
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage

Sorry to go back to this, but where did you find that torrent?

Really now? It's very public knowledge that you can't just share how to steal from artists on a public forum for a game that tries to convince artists to allow them to use their material.

Yes, fantastic. Far better than Alexisonfire, in my opinion. The first can be a little bit weepy, although it's worth checking out for sure. The 2nd, Bring Me Your Love, is superior to me. Check out my review of it!

    Excellent production, sparse and beautiful.

    No

    Far better than Alexisonfire,
Just because it's the lead songwriter for the band doesn't mean the two are comparable at all.

I would say start at The Light at the End of the World, then move to Like Gods of the Sun. Follow that up with The Dreadful Hours, then the Angel and the Dark River.

If you're more into the older, deathier doom, Turn Loose the Swans or As The Flower Withers.

Now I need to listen to some myself.

34.788%...Complete isn't bad, but it's completely different from all their other stuff.

    EDIT: My order:

The Light at the End of the World
    Like Gods of the Sun
    The Dreadful Hours
The Angel and the Dark River
Songs of Darkness, Words of Light
    A Line of Deathless Kings
    34.788%...Complete
    As the Flower Withers
    Turn Loose the Swans
    For Lies I Sire
    Trinity

To put things into perspective, I LOVE For Lies I Sire. Best band ever? IMO, yes.
