I'm disappointed about Suicide Silence not being good though. A friend of mine swears by them. Ah well.
There are lots of people who are obsessed with that band, but that's just because they are so accessible compared to real death metal. Fruit Lord has it right though (at least with The Red Chord), if you want to listen to deathcore they're the only way to go. In my humble opinion of course

No they are not. If you want some deathcore try:

    The Red Chord - Clients
Heaven Shall Burn - Deaf to Our Prayers
Job for a Cowboy - Ruination (I'd consider this death metal, some say it's deathcore, but its good so it doesn't really matter)
    The Red Death - Godmakers
Through the Eyes of the Dead - Malice
Morgue - The Process to Define the Shape of Self-Loathing

These are the only deathcore bands that stand out for me, not really a fan of anything else.

If you feel the need to listen to Suicide Silence, No Time To Bleed is the better of the two albums, but thats not saying much.

DLC Wishlist: Morbid Angel, Cynic, Obscura, In Mourning, Candlebox, Buckethead, Katatonia, Dark Tranquillity, Agalloch, Gorguts

    Racer X- Second Heat

I didn't put a lot of effort into this review due to the fact that its my second Paul Gilbert in a row. However, I really like his guitar in this one and the singing is better for sure.
